"Need a haircut, Greaser"

The Ousiders

by S.E Hinton

This book was about two social orders the Soc and the Greasers. The social orders were all about money. They settled there differences by beating on each other. One day, a grease went to far, and as he struggled to make things right he almost killed him and two of his friends. Does it ever get better or will he live with this, through the rest of his life.
I felt this book was descriptive and showed a understanding of how social orders can effect a community in present, past, and future civiliztions. Hinton built up the characters on a level that everyone could understand and he showed a vast knowledge for the plot of his story.
*I highly recommed this book!
